Drone Inspection Services

WHAT ARE DRONES?
Drones are unmanned aircraft that can be flown remotely or using a pre-planned guide accessed from their onboard computer or GPS.

Inspecting assets manually can be time-consuming and labour intensive.
Archicomm offers comprehensive Drone Inspections to undertake cost-effective Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) drone roof and building inspection services.
UAV offers a high-grade approach to inspecting roofs, facades and plants on multi-storey commercial and residential properties. Drones are controlled by an experienced pilot who uses a high-quality camera to capture images of the site.

BENEFITS OF DRONE INSPECTIONS
1.Time efficient – Drones make the inspection process faster and easier. They speed up the process of inspecting large scale buildings such as high-rises, warehouses and other properties enabling accurate representation of building quality. Done on foot, such manual inspections would lack depth and be more cumbersome. The use of drones is also ideal for remote and inaccessible areas which can include such operations that may have toxic elements or where the average person may be unable to climb into.

2. Cost effective – Drones eliminate the need for expensive access equipment and the related insurance expenses making the process more cost-effective than that of manual inspections.

3. Improved safety – Drone Inspections are ideal for when access using traditional inspection methods are unsafe or impracticable. Drones allow for an easier and safer inspection of traditionally inaccessible or hard-to-reach places, that may otherwise require scaffolding, elevated work platforms or ladders which may place the inspector at risk.

4. High quality data – Drones can be fitted with either high-resolution HD cameras or high-resolution thermal (or infra-red) imaging cameras. Thermal imaging cameras can expose excess moisture, air leaks around windows and doors, roof leaks and other costly building maintenance issues. These can be used to aid prevention of potential damage and, maintenance of a building with cost savings associated with reducing energy loss and decreasing power usage.
Drone inspections provide an easier inspection compared to other options. They have become the standard for construction and building inspections.
